If there’s ever been a rumour I’ve wanted to be true it’s this one: Capcom has reportedly been working on a remake for Dino Crisis since 2022.
The rumour, posted by Team Biohazard on Facebook on June 28, claims that the remake could be announced in 2028 but is “10000% real.”
As much as I’d love this rumour to be real, until Capcom officially announces anything, this information should be taken with a grain of salt. After all, it’s not the first time we’ve had Dino Crisis rumours do the rounds.
Despite constant requests from fans, Dino Crisis, which first released in 1999, has long been dormant, with the series’ last release being the disastrous 2003 Xbox exclusive Dino Crisis 3. Capcom did release enhanced versions of Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 for PC last year, so if this latest rumour turns out to be nothing more than hot air, we always have those.
