If you haven’t snagged your PAX passes already, this newly announced guest list might change that.
The panellists and guests attending PAX Aus 2026 have been announced, and it’s a varied list of game developers, voice actors, and nerdy wrestlers. We already knew that World of Warcraft Executive Producer Holly Longdale would be taking on the Storytime Speaker role this year, and now we know who else will be supporting her at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
First cab off the rank is the one and only Austin Creed. Formerly known as WWE superstar Xavier Woods, this one-time member of the New Day isn’t just a wrestling veteran; he’s also a certified nerd, lover of gaming, and all-around pop culture sensation. From hosting events and streaming to running the gaming-focused YouTube channel UpUpDownDown, Creed has been around the block in the gaming scene more than a few times.
A two-for-one Final Fantasy special is up next, with Square Enix devs Michael-Christopher Koji Fox and Toshio ‘Foxclon’ Murouchi. Attending PAX to celebrate all things Final Fantasy XIV, the pair are thoroughly entrenched in the long-running RPG series, with Fox having worked on FFXI, FFXIV, and XVI, to name but a few.
Australia’s own Gregory Louden will also make an appearance at PAX this year. While he previously worked at Remedy Entertainment on games like Quantum Break, Louden is currently the Creative Director at Housemarque, most recently leading the team on the incredible Saros. Having met Gregory this year and fallen deeply in love with Saros, I can say that he’s a very talented Aussie creative and a lovely guy.
90s kids will likely be familiar with the recognisable voice of actor Lenore Zann, who has embodied the popular character Rogue in the X-Men: The Animated Series, X-Men ’97, and various games including Marvel Rivals. Zann will take part in a fireside chat, where she will tell stories about her storied acting career, as well as her activism and parliamentary work in Canada.
Dropout cast member Ify Nwadiwe is back for another year of PAX, bringing with him stories from his time hosting Um, Actually, his appearance on Dimension 20, and plenty of other hilarious endeavours. Much like last year, Ify will undoubtedly bring plenty of laughs and thoughtful anecdotes about working in the entertainment industry.
When you talk about industry legends, Mick Gordon’s name is never far from the top. Having worked as a composer on some of the largest franchises in the medium, including Doom, Wolfenstein, and Killer Instinct, Gordon is filled to the brim with experience and talent. The man is responsible for some of the most iconic and recognisable tunes in the game, so his panel should be on the list of every person attending PAX this year.
AS you’ve likely come to expect, the entertaining madman, John Robertson, is returning with his Dark Room show, and the Good Games Morley crew will similarly be making a return from previous years. Content creator ThatBronzeGirl, Aussie author Isobelle Carmody, and Art Director from the tabletop publisher Chaosium will also be making appearances over the course of PAX weekend.
PAX Aus will be taking place between October 9-11 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Badges are available for purchase now, with the highly popular three-day badge already sold out.
