PlayStation has locked in a release date and price for its first set of wireless speakers. The Pulse Elevate Wireless Speakers will hit shelves on November 12, and they’ll run you $329.95 and will be available in both Midnight Black and White.
Announced a while back, these desktop speakers are packing some cool features. The audio quality is said to be high-quality, with planar magnetic drivers powering the units and Tempest 3D AudioTech supported for PS5 titles with the feature enabled.
The speakers also have a built-in mic with AI-enhanced noise rejection, designed to eliminate background sounds and let your mates hear you more clearly. You can adjust the unit’s orientation to maximise the audio space and tweak EQ settings through the system menus.
Packaged with a charging dock for each side, these bad boys use an ultra-low-latency PlayStation Link USB-C dongle that can be used on PS5, PC, and Mac, but also have the functionality to connect via Bluetooth. In fact, they have dual connectivity, so you can listen to music from one device while still getting the audio from the PlayStation Link device.
Pre-orders for the Pulse Elevate Wireless Speakers will go live on September 1 at 10am AEST.
