In the latest chapter of the reborn Overwatch narrative, it seems that Talon has successfully recruited the Junkers to their cause. Vendetta has tasked them with creating a pretty explosive distraction, so she can steal an EMP bomb that is supposed to protect Busan from the giant sea-borne omnic threats. Did D.mon make the right call in focusing on what Wrecking Ball was doing to the bridge? What does Talon need a giant EMP for? All these answers and more may well be lurking in the ‘Story’ tab of Overwatch Season 4.
As for D.mon, she looks to be a pretty brutal force on the battlefield. It’s a hero trailer, so there is a lot of amped up interpretations of how the hero may play in the game – but seeing a giant arm-mounted energy shield and an ENORMOUS energy sword tells plenty.
What about them pipes? Well, turns out the brave leader of MEKA squad is also voiced by none other than the magnificent Lilypichu!
Overwatch’s next season launches on August 12, with D.Mon leading the charge as the newest tank character. I hope you are ready for a lot of mechanised mayhem, because it’s going to be here real soon.
