Atsu may have dealt with the Yōtei Six, but there’s still more story to be told.
Developer Sucker Punch Productions has announced the Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition, a bundle containing the base game, a brand-new story expansion, and a new roguelike mode coming to PS5 on October 1.
The big headline here is the story expansion. Titled Echoes of Sekigahara, this narrative-focused journey will see Atsu travel to a previously unexplored valley in Ezo that was once the home to The Snake and his many followers. Gameplay will be split between the present day, with Atsu exploring this new region with Nagato, a man from her past, and the past itself, where players will experience Atsu’s involvement in the Battle of Sekigahara during her time on the mainland.
The other major inclusion in this package is Ghost of Yōtei: Most Wanted, a new single-player roguelike mode. In Most Wanted, players will accept various bounties to begin a run, wherein they will gain perks and unlock new characters by defeating enemies. Announced playable characters include Atsu, Oyuki, and newcomer Nagato.

The excellent online co-op mode, Ghost of Yōtei Legends, will obviously be included in this package, and I’d suggest all players picking up the Complete Edition to prioritise this offering.
Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition will run you $124.95 and is available for pre-order now for those keen on unlocking the Sakai armour set by pre-purchasing before September 30.
